A 41-year-old Janesville man faces charges in connection with a rollover crash on Highway 51 and Black Bridge Road that occurred on October 9th.

According to online court records, Christopher Buol is charged with felony operating while intoxicated causing injury. He was also cited for refusing to take a test for intoxication after arrest, failure to keep a vehicle under control, operating without insurance, and deviation from designated lane.

The victim told police that Buol was driving without his headlights on before hitting a median and a pole, then striking her car, which went airborne and overturned.

Buol was previously convicted of operating while intoxicated in 2013 and 2017.

He’s due back in court for his preliminary hearing on November 14th.
