State Senator Steve Nass’ Democratic opponent in the 11th State Senate District race participates in a candidate forum on Big Radio.

When it comes to how to best spend an estimated $5 billion budget surplus, Steve Doelder says the money would go a long way to help municipalities with road project and fund their fire and EMS service.

On the topic of abortion, Doelder says he supports a woman’s right to choose as his ex-wife had to have an abortion to save her life after having an ectopic pregnancy.

Incumbent Republican Steve Nass refused to participate in the event.

The election is Tuesday, November 8th.
