Local law enforcement will be out in full force this weekend, making sure those celebrating Halloween don’t endanger themselves or others on the roadway.

Beloit Police Sergeant Eric Rohrer says these types of deployments are done several times a month.

Rohrer says a grant from the State of Wisconsin funds the extra enforcement.

Rohrer says the goal of this high-visibility enforcement is to encourage drivers to make an alternative plan so they don’t drive while drunk or high.
