Meals on Wheels in Beloit officially moved into their new digs over the weekend.

Volunteer Marketing and Communications consultant Michele Caldwell says with a more centralized location, they’ll be able to better served the senior community and the new building offers them more room to prepare and package meals.

Caldwell says the new building is about 900 square feet bigger, features an awning to shield them from the weather, and a full sized parking lot that allows volunteers space to park and not have to use the street.

The previous location, located on College St, will no longer be used by Meals on Wheels.
