The Rock County Sheriff’s office is encouraging snowmobilers to take an upcoming snowmobile education course.
Recreational Safety Deputy Trevor Lund says it is a one time course and you’ll be able to ride for the rest of your life and the class covers trail safety, understanding trail signs, and maintaining your snowmobile for safety.
Lund says they have about 15 openings left for the class, which costs $10, and registration takes places Monday at 6:00pm at the Craig Center on the Rock County Fairgrounds.
The class itself also takes place at the Craig Center on December 17th from 8:00am until 2:00pm.
