The Aging and Disability Recourse Center is hosting a new support group for those caring for people with dementia.
Dementia care specialist Karen Tennyson says the first thirty minutes of each session will deal with grief and loss topics and then a normal group discussion will follow.
Tennyson says it is a sixteen week course and will available both in person and online, with in person sessions taking place at the UW-Whitewater Community engagement center.
Tennyson says classes begin Wednesday, January 18th at 6:30pm and the sessions will last about an huor and a half.
People can register for the group by contacting Tennyson at the Aging and Disability Resource Center.
