The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is making the public aware of a of convicted sex offender who is moving in to the community.

44-year-old Shawn M. Clepper is relocating from the Winnebago County Jail in Oshkosh to Rock Valley Community Programs at 203 West Sunny Lane in Janesville on January 9th.

Clepper was convicted of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in Ramsey County, Minnesota in 2001 and of incest in Washington County, Minnesota in 2014.

While living in Janesville, Clepper is not allowed to have unsupervised contact with minors, no contact with the victim, he’s not allowed to consume alcohol or drugs, and must comply with standard sex offender rules.
