A Rock County Board Supervisor doesn’t appear to be using his time in office sitting on his laurels.

While a measure directing the City of Janesville to hold a referendum on the proposed Woodman’s Sports and Convention Center got most of the attention last week, it wasn’t the only resolution Mike Zoril introduced at the County Board meeting.

Zoril says one of the resolutions would create consistency in how committee meeting agendas, and the protocol for submitting public comment at those meetings is distributed to the public.

Zoril says another resolution he introduced would require committee meetings to be filmed and posted for citizens to watch later.

A third resolution would allow committee member to attend meetings in a hybrid in person/ virtual format, which is something they are already doing.
