An upcoming class being put on by the Walworth Health and Human Services hopes to help new and expecting young moms with becoming a parent.

Public Health Officer Erica Bergstrom says the class is designed to help young parents learn more about raising a child and to increase their knowledge about safety interventions, community resources, and building a support network with other parents.

Bergstrom says the classes will run every Wednesday starting February 8th and are being held at the Health and Human Services building in Elkhorn.

Bergstrom says people can register for the class by visiting the Health and Human Services website, emailing them, or calling their main line.
