The 27-year old Janesville man who is charged with physical abuse of a child and then trying to make contact with one of the victims makes his second initial court appearance of the week, this time on three felony counts of intimidating a victim.
Samuel Ryan appeared in front of court commissioner Jack Hoag Tuesday afternoon, who chastised Ryan for not following conditions of the bond initially set, and set a new bond for $2,000 per count for a total of $6,000.
Assistant District Attorney Mary Bricco said Ryan’s behavior and refusal to acknowledge conditions of the bond make him a flight risk and less likely he will show up for court.
Ryan will appear for his preliminary hearing on both the felony intimidation and the initial abuse cases Monday morning.
