With a bit of the white stuff in the forecast, local communities are declaring snow emergencies.

The Cities of Evansville and Fort Atkinson have declared a snow emergencies which go into effect at noon Saturday and run until noon on Sunday.

Vehicles found to be parked on City streets during this time could face a ticket or tow.

The City of Beloit has also declared a snow emergency, which goes into effect at 10:00 Saturday morning and runs until 2:00 Sunday afternoon.

The City asks that resident remove their trash and recycling carts from the street, in addition to their vehicles.

The City of Janesville’s snow emergency will run from 6:00 Saturday evening until 2:00 Sunday afternoon.
