The City of Janesville is playing a little catch up with snow removal after several smaller events have accumulated on residential streets.

Operations Director Maggie Darr says you can expect to see the plows out this weekend.

Darr says the City typically the City declares a snow emergency when two to three inches accumulate and the last few events haven’t been significant enough on their own.

Darr says the City plans to maintain the roads throughout the snow event, and will do a full plow once it stops snowing.
