UW Whitewater at Rock County will be holding auditions for its spring production of “The Drunkard”, a melodrama in three acts featuring music from Barry Manilow.

Producer Dr. Jeff Suarez says those wishing to audition should prepare a line or two from some literary or theatrical work and be prepared to sing 8 bars of a song.

Suarez says auditions aren’t limited to just students of U-Rock, and community members and other students are more than welcome to try out.

Suarez says they’ll be looking to fill eight to ten roles for the production.

Auditions take place Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 at the Kirk Denmark Theatre.
