SSM Health recently presented the Milton Area Youth Center with a $1,500 gift to help them with their programs.

SSM Community Health Director Megan Timm says she’s glad the MAYC reached out to her because she wasn’t aware of the programs the center had to offer and the money will help them get some new programs up off the ground and running.

Timm says partnerships with organizations like the MAYC are so important because now they find way to help people in the community beyond what they see in a hospital room whether it be through things like social services or food access.

Timm says she’s excited about what the future holds and how they can continue to help the youth center going forward.
