Janesville police make two arrests after a shots-fired incident on the city’s northwest side.  Police say a vehicle was damaged, and several shell casings recovered after the incident about 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of North Grant Avenue.  Officers say 26-year-old Devante Smothers-Evans of Janesville faces charges including 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Intoxicated Use of a Firearm.  41-year-old Sophal Sok of Janesville was also arrested on charges including Intoxicated Use of a Firearm and Obstructing an Officer.  Officials don’t expect any ongoing threat to the community, but do say the investigation is still active.
