A 53-year-old Janesville man is under arrest for drunken driving for the fourth time after his vehicle breaks down in the town of Harmony.

According to a news release, a Rock county Sheriff’s Office Deputy stopped to check on a stalled vehicle on North Highway 26 near North Harmony Townhall Road just after 12:30 Thursday morning.

The driver, who was identified as John J. Kimpel displayed signs of impairment and after an investigation, was taken into custody for fourth offense operating while intoxicated which is a felony.

He is expected to appear in court Thursday afternoon.
