Local non-profits and community and school groups can now apply for mini-grant funding through the Rock River Stormwater Group’s Water Quality Education and Involvement program.
RRSG Secretary Wes Enterline says the goal of the program is to help groups impacted by the Rock River engage the community about stormwater pollution or help with projects which contribute to reducing stormwater pollution.
Enterline says they do look for a money match from the non profit group, and those interested also need to be located in one of the municipalities which is part of the Rock River Stormwater Group.
People can find more info about the grant program and the application on the Protect Wisconsin Waterways website.
