The 26-year-old playground equipment at Washington Park in Janesville is slated for replacement.

Parks Director Cullen Slapak says one of the City’s vendors is currently having a sale.

On Monday night the City Council will consider authorizing the Parks Department to spend around $59,000 replacing the playground.

If approved, the equipment would likely get installed in the fall.
