
A 45-year-old Elkhorn man is sentenced to 12 years in prison for his involvement in a methamphetamine trafficking ring that from Arizona to southeastern Wisconsin.
Sean M. Mason was found guilty of conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine in excess of 50 grams following a three-and-a-half day jury trial in Walworth County in December.
According to a news release from the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office, in 2021, Mason and 10 others were charged for their involvement in a conspiracy ranging from street-level dealing to trafficking large amounts of meth.
The 2021 investigation involved conducting controlled buys, monitoring calls, writing subpoenas and search warrants, conducting surveillance, and obtaining statements from associates and co-conspirators.
