Several studies were conducted by various groups over the last two years that addressed a variety of topics including housing, the quality of life, and some of the key features that attract new workers, residents, and tourists to the state line area.

The studies identified many positives in Beloit, but also several challenges. Those challenges include homelessness, food insecurity, transportation, and child care.

Our Lady of the Assumption Church is hosting a monthly discussion on each of the topics, starting with homelessness last month and continuing with food insecurities on March 14th.

The April and May programs will focus on transportation and child care.
