A local fundraiser is raising money for children’s cancer research.

Organizer Tori Smith says a shave and snack fundraiser benefiting St. Baldrick’s Foundation is taking place at Up With Dance Wisconsin on March 11th from noon until 4:00 p.m.

The event will feature a bake sale, as well as an opportunity for participants to shave their head in solidarity with children fighting cancer.

Since 2005, St. Baldrick’s has invested over $326 million in childhood cancer research grants worldwide.
