
The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office is releasing the name of the driver who was killed Sunday morning when his SUV crashed head-on into oncoming traffic.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 11,000 block of East Highway 67 in the Village of Clinton just after 7:00 Sunday morning on the report of a two-vehicle crash.
Investigation determined a Ford Explorer driven by 19-year-old Jorge Susunaga of Woodstock, Illinois was headed eastbound when he crossed the centerline and hit an oncoming car.
The Medical examiner’s Office says preliminary results of the autopsy determined that Susunaga died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The other driver, a 24-year-old Sharon man, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
