A request from a pair of citizens gets the ball rolling on a backyard quail ordinance in the City of Milton.

Milton has had a backyard chicken ordinance on the books since 2020.

Sari Trimberger and Robert Ham requested the City add the smaller, quail to the ordinance on Tuesday night.

The City Council voted unanimously to direct city staff to look into drafting a separate quail ordinance.
