A 50-year-old suspected cocaine dealer from Beloit takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.

Eric Brooks was charged in October of last year with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, operating a firearm while intoxicated, and carrying a concealed weapon. In a separate case, Brooks was charged with two counts of manufacture or delivery of cocaine.

In court Wednesday, Brooks plead guilty to a single count of manufacture or delivery of cocaine and possession of a firearm by a felon. All other charges were dismissed but read into the record.

Brooks and two other men were arrested in October of last year when police executed a search warrant on a home on Hull Avenue.

Sentencing is set for June 9th.
