A 39-year-old Janesville man is under arrest for drunken driving for the sixth time.

According to a news release, Janesville Police were dispatched to a disturbance at the Kwik Trip on south U.S. Highway 51 just after 2:00 Friday morning.

The man and woman involved in the disturbance had left prior to officer’s arrival.

The vehicle was located on the 2400 block of Center Avenue and stopped.

The driver of the vehicle, Theodore R. Tamminga failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for operating while intoxicated, sixth offense.

Tamminga was also cited for operating after revocation, failure to install an ignition interlock device, and a probation violation.
