The work of students in UW-Whitewater’s Media Arts and Game Development program will be on full display in early May.

Whitewater Director of Marketing and Events Jessica Turner says the annual MAGD Expo features interactive entertainment, 3-D and 2-D art, oral, virtual, and animated work and people will be able to see what they’ve been working on and even try out video games.

Turner says they’ll also be welcoming visual artist John Simons as a keynote speaker, who was had art showcased in the Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim Museum, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

The full expo starts at 4:00pm in the Hamilton Room of the University Center and is free and open to the public.
