The City of Beloit is asking anyone with a loved one at Oakwood and Eastlawn Cemeteries to remove any decorations from gravesites by April 15th.

Cemetery Coordinator Robert Pokorney says staff will be looking for broken vases and outdated seasonal decorations during the annual spring clean-up.

Cemetery staff will dispose of excessive or inappropriate decorations, and any decorations not removed by the deadline.

Pokorney says new decorations may be placed on or after Monday, May first.
