The polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday for the spring election.

Some voters may be confused by a handful of state referendum questions on Tuesday’s ballot with legal jargon that could be hard for some people to understand.

Janesville City Clerk Lori Stottler says while election workers aren’t allowed the clarify the information for people, you can leave a question blank if you don’t understand it.

Expect to encounter lines if you hitting the polling place at peak times today.

Stottler says not only is she expecting a high voter turnout but she also has a shortage of poll workers.
