A number of severe storms over the last week have left debris scattered across Beloit, and the city is offering services to help residents cleanup.
Parks and Recreation Director Matt Amundson says for the month of April, residents can contact the city in order to get put on a list and have branches and/or limbs from residential properties.
Amundson says they ask it be limited to areas known to have been impacted by the significant severe weather Beloit has experienced since March 31st, and debris doesn’t need to be bundled or tagged, but should not be placed on sidewalks.
Amundson says if you call by 4:00pm Monday, the city will do their best to ensure pickup is completed at residents location the week they call.
