A 35-year-old Walworth County man is facing a number of charges after the Walworth County Drug Enforcement Unit executes a search warrant on a home in the Village of Bloomfield.

According to a news release, the search warrant was preceded by an investigation that included multiple controlled buys of cocaine.

Officers executed the warrant at 35-year-old Joshua J. Smejkal’s residence at 6:00 p.m. on April 5th and found more than 5-0 grams of cocaine, a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and three guns.

Smejkal faces tentative charges of three counts of delivery of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a drug trafficking place, and possession of a dangerous weapon while committing a crime.
