The YWCA Rock County invites members of the public to learn about about the negative impact of institutional racism.

Racial Justice Director Aimee Leavy says the theme for this year’s Stand Against Racism is “Advancing Justice, Ensuring Equity for All.”

Leavy says the Stand Against Racism is expanding this year. The first event will take place on April 20th from noon until 1:00 p.m. in Lower Courthouse Park in Janesville.

The second event will take place on April 27th from noon until 1:00 p.m. at the Harry C. Moore Pavilion in Riverside Park in Beloit.
