A 32-year-old Beloit man who sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl will spend more than a decade behind bars.

In November of last year, Christopher Grider plead guilty to a single count of repeated sexual assault of a child, and had a second charge of first degree sexual assault of a child dismissed but read into the record.

In Rock County Court on Friday Judge John Wood sentenced Grider to serve 15 years in prison and 14 years of extended supervision.

Grider was already serving a three-year prison sentence in the Doge Correctional Institute in Waupun after having his probation revoked on burglary and theft convictions from 2011.
