The City of Whitewater works to address a large shortage of starter homes, and homes under $350,000.

A plan was developed that proposes spending $1.9 million on supporting home buyers in acquiring homes and incentivizing contractors and developers with construction of new housing units.

The funds were acquired by capturing the revenue that was generated by extending a successful tax increment district for another year.

The public input session will take place on April 27th from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m. at the Whitewater Municipal Building.
