The 36-year-old former Wisconsin Badger football player who was convicted by a jury in January of killing two women will likely spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Judge Barbara McCrory sentenced Marcus Randle-El Wednesday morning to life in prison with eligibility for extended supervision after 30 years on both counts of first degree intentional homicide. As the sentences are to be served consecutively, Randle-El will probably never be released.
For the operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent conviction, Judge McCrory sentenced Randle-El to 10 years in prison and 10 years of extended supervision. Randle-el received five years in prison and five years of extended supervision for the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon conviction. All of the sentences are to be served concurrently.
According to prosecutors, Randle-El shot Seairaha Winchester and Brittany McAdory to death in Janesville in February of 2020 in a dispute over drug money.
