Janesville Police have announced the 2023 Kid’s Bike Rodeo will be taking place in early June.

Officer Dan Hanson says the event will be held June 3rd from 9:00am until noon in the YMCA parking lot adjacent to the Janesville Town Square on Festival Street.

Hanson says the rodeo will have free bike checks, helmet fittings, and an obstacle course for kids to ride and learn some bike safety skills.

Hanson says with Summer right around the corner and school getting out, it is the perfect time for kids to learn bike safety so they can enjoy the trails in Janesville.

Pre-registration for the event will take place on site at 8:30am on June 3rd.
