The University of Wisconsin Whitewater will be celebrating the achievements if its students during commencement ceremonies Saturday and Tuesday.

Executive Director of Marketing and Communications Jeff Angileri says they’ll be holding two ceremonies Saturday to recognize nearly 1,400 students at the Whitewater campus.

Angileri says they’ll be making a little history with this year’s ceremony, as eight graduates with the University’s LIFE program, which provides a college experience for young adults with intellectual disabilities, will walk the stage.

A Tuesday ceremony will recognize students at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater Rock County campus.
