Street resurfacing work across Janesville begins Monday and lasts until the 24th.

Assistant City Engineer Lisa Wolf says streets will be posted “no parking” from 6am to 7pm on the day work is being done, and workers will first grind down old street surfaces before returning within a few days to lay the new asphalt.

Wolf says work is mostly being done on the East and South sides of town, with about 2.35 miles of road being repaved on mostly residential streets.
