A group of people trying to save the Whitewater Aquatic and Fitness Center is holding another meeting Wednesday night.

Save the Pool Committee Coordinator Jeffrey Knight says he attended the WAFC subcommittee meeting last week, and left the meeting feeling the city and the school district are farther apart than ever.

Knight says it is urgent for people to come to the meeting to hear the issues which were raised and to advocate for an adequate solution.

Knight says the pool is a great resource for the community, not only because it provides a fun place but is vital in providing water safety and lessons to youth.

The meeting will be held at 6:00pm Wednesday at the Cravath Community Center.
