A 22-year-old Orfordville will get a second chance to mend his ways after taking a plea deal in a child pornography case.

Wednesday morning in Rock County Court Judge Ashley Morse accepted guilty pleas from Aaron Myhre to charges of possession of child pornography, and two counts of capturing an intimate representation without consent with a victim under the age of 18.

Myhre was originally charged with three counts of possession of child pornography.

Judge Morse held open the child pornography conviction and sentenced Myhre to three years of probation with six months in the Rock County Jail on the other two charges.

Myhre was arrested in June of last year after the Rock County Sheriff’s Office executed a warrant on his South Center Street home.
