The YWCA has announced six new members to its board of directors after a good amount of turnover in April left some openings.

Board President Adrian Graham says each woman on the board is mission driven, they care about the programs and the people who receive help from the club, and are passionate about eliminating racism and empowering women.

Graham says a mix of youth and experience on the board will provide historical data about how things have run in the past while also having a new lens on how things should run in the future.

Shatoria Teague, Angie Baskin, Crystal Fox, Jillian Davenport, Melanie Dunkin, and Judge Ashley Morse now all join the YWCA board.
