Kids in the stateline area are getting the chance for some free bike rides courtesy of the Stateline Boys and Girls Club in Beloit.

Site Coordinator Alicia Edwards says the program is put on by volunteer Rick Barter, and bikes, helmets, and training will all be provided for kids ages 12 and up who want to participate.

Edwards says they meet Thursdays and depart at 9:30am and will ride around the area where the club is, sometimes down to the Train Bridge or Turtle Park, or they’ll even head to Big Hills Park.

The program starts June 15th and registration is required and can be done by picking up a permission slip from the Boys and Girls Club.
