
The groundbreaking on Beloit College’s $10 million renovation of the Robert Morse Library takes place Friday morning.
President Elect Eric Boynton says the renovation includes the entire envelope of the building including a new roof, walls, and brick; as well as a new entrance reaching out into the community on the first floor.
Boynton says the renovation also includes putting Impact Beloit into the first floor of the building, which is a new community and outreach program which aims better strengthen the relationship between the college and the city of Beloit.
The renovation is expected to be completed in fall of 2024.
