After 45-years advocating for victims of domestic violence a local organization planning a special fundraising celebration.

New Beginnings of Walworth County Executive Director Suzi Schoenhoft says when the group began in 1978, services were only available to battered women.

Schoenhoft says services now support victims of sexual assault, human trafficking, stalking, and harassment.

To help continue New Beginnings’ efforts, a 70’s themed fundraiser is planned for next week Friday night June 23rd at Celebration on Wells in Lake Geneva.
