A 36 year old Sharon man who who arrested in Beloit Monday)after a standoff with police makes his initial appearance in Rock County court. WCLO’s Sean Maloney reports:
Ken Canalini appeared in front of Court Commissioner Mason Braunschweig Wednesday afternoon, who issued a $5,000 cash bond with conditions of absolute sobriety, no contact with the victim, and must have GPS monitoring when it becomes available.
Braunschweig says the cash bond is justifiable, and the court was concerned by the behavior shown by Canalini and it’s fortunate that he wasn’t in court on more serious charges.
Canalini is facing multiple charges including domestic abuse, resisting an officer, disorderly conduct, and making terrorist threats.
