A lot of homeless pets are expected to find their forever homes this month

Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin Business Development Director Katie Swedlund says the BISSELL Pet Foundation is sponsoring an Empty the Shelters event.

Swedlund says the adoption fees for adult cats and dogs will be reduced to $50 from July 10th through the 31st.

Since the 2016 inception of BISSELL Pet Foundation’s “Empty the Shelters,” nearly 140,000 pets at 605 animal welfare organizations in 47 states and Canada have received second chances.
