The City of Beloit is inviting the community to a pair of informational sessions to learn about some upcoming street reconstruction projects.

Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Lock says the projects will see road resurfacing and a road diet which will convert four lanes sections of roadway to two lanes on sections of Cranston Road and Henry Avenue.

Lock says both informational meetings will be held at their city offices on Springbrook Court and the first meeting Tuesday from 5:30 to 6:30pm will cover the Cranston Road project, while the meeting Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30 covers Henry Avenue.

Work on the projects is expected to begin in 2024.
