A 45-year-old Janesville man is in custody following the discovery of a woman’s decomposing body in Beloit.  Beloit police say officers were dispatched to a death investigation about 3:30 Wednesday afternoon near Turtle Town Hall and Colley Roads.  After an autopsy, the deceased was identified as 37-year-old Judy A. Sprigler of Beloit.  Sprigler had been missing since July 12th.  A Beloit Police Facebook post reports an investigation led them to arrest 45-year-old Lawrence L. Parker Jr. of Janesville.  He’s currently being held at the Rock County Jail on a charge of Mutilating or Hiding a Corpse.  The cause of death is yet to be released.  The investigation is on-going.
