Enrollment is up about 100 students at the two-year-old public charter school in Beloit.
The Lincoln Academy Chief Education Officer Kristi Cole says there are 634 students this year with a wait list of close to 200.
Passersby may have noticed the construction going on at the campus at 608 Henry Street.
Cole says the public charter school needed a stand alone cafeteria.
Cole says they are also adding more labs, and filling out the shell space on the third floor that was constructed, but not completely finished into classrooms.
