An expansion is allowing Hendricks CareerTEK to provide more career opportunities to Beloit area youth.

Executive Director Derrick Carter says a 2,200 square foot addition was just completed.

The addition includes new healthcare, construction, and innovation labs.

The expansion will allow students in sixth through 12th grades to have extensive hands-on experiences as they work on more in-depth projects.

A grand re-opening celebration is happening from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29th.
