The 56 year old Janesville man who crashed into a Janesville home after a short chase with police has a pair of bond modicationg denies in Rock County Court.

Judge John Wood denied Chad Measner’s request to reduce his bond from 20,000 to 5,000; citing the seriousness of the charges and the potential risk to the public.

Measner also asked to have a bond condition which prohibits him from driving at all to be changed to allow him to drive for work and to treatment, which Wood also denied.

Measner faces multiple counts including four charges of recklessly endangering safety, hit and run, and O-W-I fourth offense after he drove his car into a home and through a little girl’s bedroom last month.
